This spring feels like it's no hurry this year.  Many of our nights have been clouded or rained out which can only be attributed to all the new telescope and observing accessories purchased by club members at the North East Astronomy Forum (NEAF) earlier this month!  

All joking aside here are some updates from the club we wanted to share with you all.

1. We had a spectacular presentation on astroimaging processing from club secretary Lee Polikoff.  The second in our astroimaging series.  Stay tuned for a cell phone astrophotography presentation in early summer.

2. Come visit us at the Deer Lake Outdoor Center Earth Day Event, Saturday April 26th 10AM-4PM

3. We're proud to announce our Salt Meadow Public Star Parties for 2025!  See https://shorelineastronomicalsociety.blogspot.com/p/salt-meadow-public-star-parties-2025.html for more information on this series of events starting in May.  Come get your hands on a telescope or learn how to use yours!

4. Come meet us at the Meigs Point Nature Center Family Astronomy Night at Hammonasset Saturday May 31st!

5. Our next club meeting is May 8th at 7 PM at Deer Lake Outdoor Center

Despite the touch-and-go weather, we had a great time last night at Salt Meadow Park.  Hi All, Some Updates We now accept online payment for club memberships on our Meetings and Membership Page ! This is in addition to check and cash payments, those options remain.
